Halloween is here. Well, the actual day is in a couple of days but everyone is already celebrating.
For website owners, it’s a great time to look out for deals on stuff you may have been thinking about getting so that you can use for your online business. Stuff like web hosting, WordPress themes, plugins, software and memberships are available with discounts ahead of the next big sales season – Black Friday.
I’ve been getting some deals in my inbox and decided to compile them all in one post and share them with you. Hopefully, you get a discount on something you’ve been meaning to get but decided against because the price was a little too much at the time.
Here are a list of deals that are already available – I’ve included when they will end, coupon code info and a link to the deal page if available.
WP Engine – 4 months free
WP Engine offers managed WordPress hosting for all size online businesses.
The price for managed WordPress hosting isn’t cheap as the smallest plan which lets you host just 1 website, starts at $30/month.
If you’re getting a lot of traffic and want a WordPress optimized environment for your websites though, it may be worth it to use managed hosting as there are a lot of other benefits.
For Halloween, WP Engine is offering 4 months free if you purchase a plan and pay annually or 20% off your first month’s bill if you choose to pay on a monthly basis.
The sale has already started (since last week) and is due to end on 31st of October.
HostPapa – 70% off
HostPapa is a Canadian web hosting company with servers in Canada and the US. They offer green web hosting – shared plans and optimized WordPress hosting.
They’re usually not in the conversation when it comes to talk about best web hosting but they’ve grown rapidly in recent years to hosting over 500,000 websites.
They’re offering a massive deal for Halloween of up to 70% off shared hosting and optimized WordPress hosting for all billing terms.
For the Starter plan which allows only two websites, it’s discounted from $7.99 to $3.95 per month (51% off). The Business plan which is what most online business owners should choose because you get unlimited websites, it’s discounted from $12.99 to $3.95 per month (75% off). Business Pro plans, which has enhanced performance, security and speed, are discounted to 35% from $19.99 to $12.95 per month.

Cloudways – 25% off for 2 months
Cloudways offers cloud hosting services and they’re offering a Halloween treat for new customers who want to try out their services. You can get managed WordPress hosting using Cloudways which might offer additional benefits than if you went with a traditional WordPress host.

Astra Theme – 20% off
I previously used the Astra theme on this site until I replaced it with the current one. I like the one that I’m using but recently heard that Astra made a huge update and changed a lot of stuff. WordPress experts have been saying that it’s one of the best free WordPress themes available.
7 out of 11 of those experts said this was the best free theme. Astra itself has a perfect 5 star rating from over 2700 users and has over 1 million active installs. It is the only free theme to have achieved such a feat.
For Halloween, they’re offering 20% off the Pro addon which makes an already awesome theme even more awesome by adding in a lot more features and customizable options.

Themify – $50 off Lifetime/ 30% off
Themify is a premium WordPress theme membership which has a collection of 48 WordPress themes and 12 plugins.
They have great themes for all needs and you can customize them with the Themify builder.
You can get access to all the themes with a club membership with a choice of either Master Club (1 year support and updates) or Lifetime (Lifetime support and updates). Master Club is $89 per year and Lifetime is $249 one time fee.
Themify is offering two deals for Halloween. You can either have 30% off on themes, plugins, on Master Club upgrades and renewals or you can take $50 off a Lifetime membership.
These are great deals if you want to have access to Themify themes and their other products. The deal is available now and expires on Friday, 1st November.
MyThemeShop
One of my absolute favorite places to buy WordPress themes is MyThemeShop.
They make a lot of great themes that have a lot of stuff built right into them so that you don’t need extra plugins. Stuff like related posts, social media buttons and so on.
They also have nice clean design, mobile responsiveness and lots of customizable options.
MyThemeShop is also having a Halloween sale where they’re giving you any premium WordPress theme for only $19 (usually they’re $45). They’re also giving you 50% off any premium plugins.
This offer is currently available and expires on Sunday, 1st November – one whole week to check out all their themes and decide which one is going on that new site.
